Another option that has become quite popular since we introduced it is the Standby Server. We can supply and configure a redundant server to compliment your dedicated/co-located server.
Server minimum specifications:
- Intel Celeron Processor
- 80GB SATA Hard Disk Drive
- 512MB DDR RAM
We set the server up to synchronise with your main server to keep a complete mirror of your data and services. Mailboxes, websites and web data are all synchronised to the main server.
Should your main server fail for some reason traffic is diverted through to the redundant server for the duration of the outage. When the main server comes back up traffic is routed back to the main server.
Please note that this option is currently only available for Linux Dedicated Servers.
